Gold star for Shepton Hospital

Practice Plus Group Hospital in Shepton Mallet has received a gold award in recognition of its commitment to infection prevention and patient safety.
The hospital's clinical team were awarded Gold ANTT® (Aseptic Non-Touch Technique) accreditation following an inspection by the Association for Safe Aseptic Practice. The scheme recognises healthcare providers who demonstrate consistently high standards when carrying out invasive procedures such as surgery.

Practice Plus Group Hospital in Shepton Mallet offers NHS and private treatment, including hip and knee replacements, cataract surgery and hernia operations. The hospital recently introduced treatment for varicose veins and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
