One of the landmark events of the Shepton Mallet calendar is back this week, and at a new home.

A number of these events in the Shepton Mallet area are being added to our recently revamped What's On section.

Our top event pick for this week is the Mid-Somerset Show, which returns after a Covid-enforced break in 2020, and it's new home is just up the road at Cannard's Grave.

Featuring agricultural and livestock displays, animals, arts and crafts, a heritage tent, live performances and much more, the Mid-Somerset Show is a great family day out and pedestrian admission to the show is free.

Car parking is £15.

The event is taking place on Sunday (August 15), and for more information, check out the website here.

You can list your events - e.g. shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, local markets, steak nights at the local pub, jazz choir rehearsals, or anything else - on our What's On page FREE of charge, just click this link and then click the black Nub It button.
