The events calendar is back in full swing in Shepton Mallet, with music, theatre, clubs, quiz nights and sport all taking place.

A number of these events in the Shepton Mallet area are being added to our recently revamped What's On section.

Our top event pick for this week is The Adventures of Madame Carol Sell and Mr Popsy, which is taking place in Collett Park in Shepton Mallet.

This is a free, family show with fully integrated Makaton, and is being performed by the Tall Tails Theatre Company.

A humorous pantomime, the show explores how respect, friendship and co-operation can overcome rivalry and jealousy.

The event is taking place on Saturday (August 21) at 3pm, and for more information, check out the website here.

You can list your events - e.g. shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, local markets, steak nights at the local pub, jazz choir rehearsals, or anything else - on our What's On page FREE of charge, just click this link and then click the black Nub It button.
