The stage show of David Walliams' Billionaire Boy is coming to the Bath and West Showground, near Shepton Mallet, in April for a drive-in theatre event.
Taking place at the showground on Friday April 16 at 2pm and 5pm, this Covid-safe drive-in production by the Birmingham Stage Company is being held in conjunction with Car Park Party.
Billionaire Boy tells the story of Joe Spud, who is 12 years old and the richest boy in the country. He has his own sports car, two crocodiles as pets and £100,000 a week pocket money.
However, what Joe doesn't have is a friend. So he decides to leave his posh school and start at the local comp.
But things don't go as planned for Joe and life becomes a rollercoaster as he tries to find what money can't buy.
Tickets are priced at £52 per car for the event where you do not need to leave your car or open your windows.
A spokesperson said: "Our traffic management team will be there on the day to park all cars appropriately, with enough space for social distancing and to ensure clear views of the stage and screen.
"Larger vehicles will be parked at the back or on the ends of each row to ensure everyone has a good view of the stage and screen.
"Customers are advised to stay in their vehicles while on-site, leaving only to use toilet facilities or visit the food and drink stand where strict social distancing and sanitation protocols will be in place.
"Car Park Party shows are broadcast on FM radio frequencies so that you can tune in and listen to all the exciting live entertainment from your vehicle. If you do not have a car radio, you will need to bring a portable radio with you."
