A crash in Nettlebridge today (August 19) is causing traffic delays on the A367 through the hamlet and in the surrounding area.

The crash is reported to have happened at the bottom on Nettlebridge, at the junction where the A367 meets the road up to Harridge Woods nature reserve.

There are reports that motorists are being directed away from the A367 at the Beacon crossroads, and according to satellite traffic cameras, this is causing hold-ups to the bottom of Long Hill, near Shepton Mallet.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area, especially as Old Frome Road from the Beacon crossroads is already closed for roadworks.
