Nub News has received reports of an accident at the Burnt Wood crossroads.

It is understood that the road is currently blocked in all four directions, with buses unable to serve Binegar and Gurney Slade, and diverting via Bristol Hill, Green Ore, Chewton Mendip and Ston Easton, and resuming the route at Chilcompton.

It is believed that four vehicles were involved. The road was reopen by 1.15pm

Police and ambulance services were unable to supply any information.
