Collett Park in Shepton Mallet transformed into a circus wonderland yesterday, as the much-anticipated 'Circus in the Park' event took centre stage.

The free event, organised by Shepton Mallet Town Council and led by renowned performer Chris Bullzini, drew a large crowd eager to experience a day of circus magic.

The festivities kicked off with tightrope workshops, teaching attendees the nuances of balance and poise. At 2:00 pm, the park shifted its focus to the sky with aerial acrobatics workshops, where participants had the chance to learn the basics of airborne stunts.

The day culminated in a jaw-dropping highwire and aerial show at 4:30 pm, showcasing Bullzini's expertise and defying gravity in spectacular fashion.
