Caravan Fire at Stratton on the Fosse

Date: 22.11.2018Time: 21:37Location: Stratton on the FosseDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call from a member of the public reporting a caravan on fire at the above location.
Two fire appliances from Shepton Mallet were immediately mobilised by fire control.On arrival the incident commander confirmed that one caravan was well alight. Crews quickly got to work with two hose reel jets and one compressed air foam jet to tackle the fire.
The incident commander requested the attendance of police as he suspected that the fire may have been started deliberately.The fire caused approximately 90% damage to the caravan.
