Burst water main closes road between Shepton and Evercreech

Emergency repairs are being undertaken to a burst water main on the main road between Shepton Mallet and Evercreech.
An emergency road closure was put in place on the A371 following the incident yesterday (Thursday, December 8). Bristol Water has warned of delays and advises commuters to plan their journey.
The section of road on the A371 is between the A37 Whitestone Roundabout and B83081 to Evercreech.
A Travel Somerset spokesperson said: "Bristol Water is carrying out emergency repairs from 9pm last night - the road could be closed for up to five days."
