Brothers Cider is celebrating 30 years of cider-making in Shepton Mallet, marking a major milestone for the local business that started life in a Somerset field and grew into a nationally recognised name.

Founded in 1994, Brothers began pouring cider at the Glastonbury Festival and quickly became known for its bold flavours and laid-back, festival feel. Three decades on, the company is still going strong from its Shepton Mallet base – and looking back on its journey with a nod to where it all began.

The team says its connection to the festival scene remains central to the brand, with new-look cans inspired by the colour and chaos of live music events being launched to mark the anniversary.

Although Brothers has grown over the years, its founders say it has stayed true to its roots: producing naturally fruity cider with a playful edge, right here in Somerset.

As part of its 30th year celebrations, the company has refreshed its packaging but kept the same flavour combinations that have earned it a loyal following – from classic pear cider to fan favourites like Toffee Apple and new releases including Pineapple & Passionfruit.

While the drinks are now found across the UK, Shepton remains home to the business. Brothers Cider has thanked the local community and long-time customers for their support over the years.

A spokesperson said: "We've been doing this for three decades now – and we're only just getting started."
