The Railway has a number of building and engineering projects on the go for 2023.

Below are the pictures of the Carriage Shed Extention which we are in the process of building. We are doing this so we can run more 4 wagon trains because of the increasing number of guests who ride with us. This has also meant a total revamp of the engine shed.

The extra space saved will then allow us to revamp our workshop which has a number of lathes and milling machines. At times there is little space for our members to move around in, so the Carriage Shed Extention has meant a bigger move around for the club. This will then allow us to continue to build our Black 5 steam loco. The new boiler arrived early in February.

Other projects include a steam bay roof and a possible extention to the track.
