Somerset's only touring adult panto group is making a return following its huge sell-out success this year.

The Glastonbury And Street Pottymouth Squad (GASPS) will bring more filth to six venues across Somerset in January with its adult pantomime, Snow *hite, Rotten to the Core.

It follows the success of this year's show, Sinders, which toured the county, sold out weeks before opening night and helped raise £7,000 for Glastonbury and Street Musical Comedy Society.

Lots of familiar faces from Somerset's local theatre scene make up the cast and crew behind this outrageously rude show, including the show's director for a second year, Brian Epps, who has been treading the boards for more than 60 years.

He said: "I cannot describe how much joy we had with this year's show, Sinders. Not only did our cast and crew have so much fun, but the reaction from our audiences was beyond our wildest dreams – they absolutely lapped it up; clearly the people of Somerset love some filth.

"Snow *hite is expected to be even filthier – in fact, we've already had to chop out a couple of jokes, which are a bit over the line, even for Somerset!

"Since we closed the curtain on Sinders we've had so many people desperate for us to return, and badgering us about ticket sales. We're about to put them out of their misery by putting tickets on sale at the end of June. And remember, if you're a prude, easily offended or take yourself too seriously…don't bother coming."

Snow *hite, which is sponsored by The Mad Hatter Joke Shop in Yeovil, will tour West Pennard, Cossington, Somerton, Weston-super-Mare, Wookey Hole Caves and Glastonbury from January 24.

Tickets, which start at £16.50, go on sale from 8pm on Friday, June 30, on GASPS' website: www.gspottymouth.co.uk.
