Green fields near the centre of Shepton Mallet could become a housing development, if plans are given the go-ahead by Mendip District Council.

The application by Pegasus Planning Group is seeking permission to build 22 homes on land south west of 12 Westway Lane. The 0.77 hectare site is currently used for horse grazing.
