Somerset Council warns drivers of A37 Fosse Way closures for urgent resurfacing from 3 June to 14 June.

Drivers are being warned to brace for disruption as urgent resurfacing work is set to shut down a stretch of the A37 Fosse Way near Pylle for 11 evenings next week.

Somerset Council has confirmed the works will take place between Tuesday 3 June and Saturday 14 June, with the road closed weekdays and Saturdays from 6.30pm to 11.30pm.

The closure will allow contractors HD Materials UK to carry out emergency resurfacing. Officials say the work is essential and must go ahead without delay.

Outside of the evening closures, the road will remain open as usual.

Commuters and evening travellers are being urged to plan ahead and expect some delays while the works are carried out.
