Whether you're reading or listening, you're guaranteed an uplifting evening with a wonderfully supportive crowd. And yes - there's actual cake.
Friday 11th April – Psycho-Acoustic Goat (Doors 7pm / Music 8pm / Tickets from £4)
A viola-wielding space goat? Why not. This psychedelic acoustic duo are like nothing you've heard before—think slap bass, soaring melodies and grooves you can dance or trance out to. Weird and wonderful, they're a stomping sonic treat.
Saturday 12th April – Shepton Mallet Repair Café (11am – 1pm)
Broken toaster? Busted zip? Dodgy lamp? Bring it along and our skilled volunteers will help you repair it - for free. It's good for the planet, great for your wallet, and always a friendly atmosphere. No need to book.
Saturday 12th April – Manos Puestas Trio (Doors 7pm / Music 8pm / Tickets from £5)
Shepton's in for a treat. Manos Puestas Trio return with their virtuosic mix of swing, bebop, Latin and rumba. These are top-tier musicians with serious talent and a sound that fills the room with energy. Don't miss it.
The Art Bank is more than just a venue. We're a not-for-profit community hub - home to art groups, free workshops, music nights, and repair cafés. We're Shepton Mallet's only dedicated live music venue, and we rely on ticket sales, food and drink to keep the lights on and the music playing.
If you've ever loved a night here, come back. If you've never been - come and discover what makes this place so special. Drop in for coffee or lunch from Wednesday to Saturday (open 10am–3pm, lunch 12.30–2.30), or join us for an evening show. Every visit really does makes a difference.
Let's keep The Art Bank buzzing.
