Shepton Mallet roadworks for week commencing September 14

Temporary traffic lights are scheduled to be in place in Townsend, Shepton Mallet, this week.

The lights are due to be used on Wednesday (September 16) to enable Bristol Water to carry out works.

Other roadworks that are planned to take place in Shepton Mallet this week include:

Temporary traffic lights are set to be used in Whitstone Road on Thursday (September 17) for Bristol Water to carry out works.

The temporary traffic lights at the junction of Whitstone Rise and Whitstone Road, to enable Wales and West Utilities to upgrade a metal gas main to a plastic one, are scheduled to be removed on Monday (September 14).

Temporary traffic lights on the A371 through Darshill for Somerset Highways to desilt a culvert, are due to be removed on Friday (September 18).

From Friday to September 25, BT is scheduled to be installing a poly duct and repairing a cabinet in Little Brooks Lane.

Finally, a month-long permit for scaffolding is due to begin on Tuesday (September 15) at 1 to 3 Regal Way.
