Five Education are seeking a resilient and compassionate individual to work with all age groups of children in alternative special schools. We are recruiting for Castle Cary, Yeovil and Martock. The role is flexible and allows you to select your preference for your working days within a 5-day week; Monday to Friday. The minimum expectation is 2 days a week. There is a big demand for full-time staff in schools, but part-time roles are also available. The role is to support children with special educational needs (SEN) and social and emotional mental health (SEMH) needs throughout their school day. The hours of work are 8:30-3:30. As a Learning Facilitator, you would be helping children of various ages and abilities to reach their educational targets. By helping them on a one-to-one level, you would be positively impacting their progress with their schooling. We work with excellent schools in Somerset, some are on bus routes and some will require a car to get to. You do not need to have any experience for this role, as you will learn "on the job". We provide tailored support to help you whilst you are working for us. You will benefit from ongoing SEND training throughout the year. We will help you find a school where you will feel happy, and a permanent role may be offered. Five Education provides free high-quality training throughout the academic year to upskill you to become a SEND specialist. Many of our candidates report that supporting the children in our schools is highly rewarding. We have roles in specialist schools as well as mainstream primary and secondary schools and alternative provision. If you want to work school hours, term time only with children with Autism, ADHD and/ or learning difficulties in great schools, then please do get in touch. Contact Phoebe, (phone number removed)
