Nestled in the small village of Binegar sits the Horse and Jockey pub dating back to the 18th century.

Whether you just want to drop in for a quick drink and catch up with friends, or planning to relax and enjoy a lovely meal, the welcome will always be a warm one with a friendly atmosphere.

Our pub is dog friendly and in the winter you can enjoy the roaring wood burning stove while the summer months can be enjoyed outside surrounded by fields.

Our food is home cooked and we have an ever-changing specials menu. The Horse and Jockey is a rare little jewel on the beautiful Mendip Hills.
