Get on board and take on the challenge this September with The Big Avon Paddle and raise money for Dorothy House!

Join us as we paddle the River Avon on Saturday 18 September, starting at The Boathouse, Bath to Chequers Inn, Bristol, and back again. The 17 mile round trip will take around 8 hours, and there will be regular stops for loo breaks and refreshments, as well as a chance to catch up with fellow paddlers. You'll also be provided with a map that shows all of the stopping points, so your friends and family can come and cheer you on!

The paced event is designed to be enjoyable for all, and we'll be travelling at around 3ml per hour, giving you plenty of time to take in the gorgeous scenery. At the end of the day, you can celebrate conquering The Big Avon Paddle with a BBQ at The Boathouse too.

The entry fee is £20, and this covers the cost of your event t-shirt, refreshments and the BBQ at the end of the day. Each participant needs to raise £200 in sponsorship for Dorothy House, and those who raise over £300 will get a free event hoodie!
