Be Part of Dorothy's Biggest Tea Party!

You Decide!

UNTIL Friday 24th September

On Friday September 24 Dorothy House Hospice Care would love for members of the public to join in and be part their biggest Tea Party!

The whole community is invited to get involved by either hosting or attending a Dorothy's Biggest Tea Party or coffee morning at home, in their workplace, at the gym or even virtually.

The idea is to have fun, bring people together, eat lots of cakes and raise funds to support the vital end of life care our local Hospice provides to the community.

Verity Clark, Community and Events Fundraiser at Dorothy House Hospice Care, said: "Hosting a tea party or coffee morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause.

"Support from our local community has never been needed more and getting involved has the power to raise vital funds for those facing a life limiting illness.

"The official date is September 24, but anyone can hold their event whenever they like. We hope as many of our community will get involved to help our amazing charity."

Angela Sadler will be hosting her own Dorothy's Tea Party and said: "My husband Richard was cared for by Dorothy House.

"Nineteen months after he passed away, we decided to mark his birthday with a Dorothy's Tea Party and raise funds for Dorothy House. Friends kindly offered help and donated delicious cakes.

"We had such fun on the day setting up and serving our guests. Everyone who came commented on how much they'd enjoyed it and our final total raised was £798."

Dorothy House Hospice Care provides free, palliative and end of life care across 700 square miles, serving a population of 550,000 people in Bath and North East Somerset, Wiltshire and parts of Somerset.

Their services are provided whenever and wherever they are needed: at home, in the hospice at Winsley, or in the community.
